Safety and security
The safety and wellbeing of the children in our care is of paramount importance at Little Cherubs. Access to our nurseries is strictly controlled to ensure a secure and protected environment at all times.
Both of our nursery settings operate video intercom systems, allowing staff to carefully monitor who is entering and leaving the premises throughout the day. All main gates and doors remain securely locked, with entry supervised by our team.
We also operate a secure fob-access entry system, ensuring that only authorised staff members can access designated areas of the building.
From 2026, CCTV systems will be installed within nursery rooms and communal areas, providing an additional layer of safeguarding and security. These systems will be regularly monitored by the management team to support our robust safeguarding procedures.
Emergency preparedness
For additional reassurance, both Little Cherubs nurseries are equipped with a fully maintained Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on site.
This life-saving equipment is designed for use on infants, children and adults, providing critical emergency support should it ever be required.
All members of our team are trained in Paediatric First Aid, ensuring they are confident and prepared to respond quickly and effectively in the event of a medical emergency.
