Nursery Visit

At Little Cherubs Nursery & Pre School we are committed to always keeping the staff & children within our care safe & secure. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer offering in face to face visits during our nursery day.

We are happy to send all prospective parents a Virtual Tour to their email along with our nursery brochure. We will then allocate any parents a pre booked telephone/ zoom call to go through any queries you may have.

We are currently offering limited in person visits out of hours (evening) once every half term should you wish to book a space.

Settle in period

We offer every new child a 'settle in' period before their first day, free of charge!

During this time, your child will visit with one parent to spend short periods of time at nursery, growing comfortable in their new environment. This is also an important time for the staff team to get to know you and your child, so they are fully aware of your child’s individual needs.

All Covid19 protocols & government guidance will be adhered to at all times.

 

Arrival & depature at nursery

During Covid pandemic we have adjusted the way the children enter the nursery building. This has been in place since reopening after the 2020 lockdown.

All children will be dropped off & picked up via the main door by a manager or member of staff from the childs room. This is currently working very well with minimal disruption to the children’s day & traffic around the nursery areas.

Every staff & child’s temperature will be checked on arrival into the setting daily. Should it be above 37.8, your child will be sent home as a precautionary measure.

If any child tests positive for Covid 19 the 10 days isolation will apply as per Gov guidelines
